Feral Cats

feral cats are a big part of life in back of the yards. we have a huge number of totally wild cats on our block (which means no rats, unlike some other blocks in the area). the other night i woke out of a dead sleep to this horrible howling sound. i thought something terrible had happened to one of my kids. but then i realized it was cats. peeking out the window i saw a gathering of 4 to 5 of these vermin, sitting there howling at each other. i threw somethings out the back door and the ran in all directions. but they'll be back.
