hols went into labor dec 8 around noon, and had the baby at 6:30am dec 9.. 18.5 hours later... it's a girl! hols really amazed me... no meds, nothing, just tough as nails girl power. she cut loose much more than when she labored for abi... hollering and everything. we video taped it... gore and all, but very few of you will ever see it *smile*

one of the most revealing moments about holly's precious character is when she looked up from her hands and knees position after a very intense contraction, and with glazed eyes said to jen (her sis-in law) "i really want you to see this baby before you have to leave, so i hope i have it soon" then ducked her head back down and plunged into the next contraction. she knew how much jen wanted to see the baby born, since jen's moving to philidalphia in 2 days. how could holly be thinking of others at such a time? she continually amazes me.

if you're wondering why im posting at 2am... beth ann is chillin next to me so hols can sleep but she requires quite a bit of maintenence which keeps me from sleep.
