she was in the hospital for 4 days

now she's home

they've prescribed 160 mg aspirin every 6 hours for 2 weeks, to keep her fever down and to reduce the risk of aneurism. in 2 weeks we go in to have follow up tests done to make sure the syndrome has past and there wasnt any damage to her heart

some have asked: can they tell now if there was any heart damage?

well, at this point there was none, at least when they did an ultrasound on Sunday. apparently, in the case of an aneurism, it develops gradually, and there are other symptoms like fatigue, glazed eyes, sleeping all the time, etc... which havent been present since sunday. so the follow up tests in 2 weeks are just to make sure nothing new is developing over the two weeks
