last night i sat at my kitchen table with one of the guys from my bible study. he had been struggling with violent thoughts about someone at work... demonic forces seeking to draw him back into the old way of life: violence, revenge, anger. we prayed and worshipped for about an hour and a half, and as he renounced old patterns of sin and violent thinking we watched God set him free from revenge obsession. I wouldn't want to live any other life.

I have nothing to offer... but I know my God. my God sets the oppressed free.
