i'm frustrated, much of the research and program efforts that attempt to improve the national youth violence problem are aimed at schools. no one out there seems to think that the problem of youth violence in this country has much to do with families and parents. everyone is quick to analyze how to reform the school system, but what about parents? if we sunk some effort and money into training parents and families, we would have different kids.
