i am responsible for negligent blogging, despite my promises.

for all you out of towners, chaddo and the girls are doing well here in chicago. so far this spring/summer either we, our family, or our close friends have had two weddings, three graduations, and two births. busy busy busy

between open houses, weddings, baby showers, graduations, etc... ive been meditating on psalm 45 and the beauty of Jesus. i'll quote from psalm 45:

my heart is stirred with a noble theme,
as i recite my verses for the king

you are fairer than all the sons of men
grace is poured upon your lips
and God has blessed you forever.

i've been struck the beauty and supremacy of this God-man, Jesus more and more, as i gaze at him. his beauty is unsurpassed in creation. his glory is unlike any glory on this earth. his presence alone satisfies the human soul.

there is no one like him. there is no one who has been found worthy to receive the name above every other name other than him. there is no one else who has been found worthy to open the book and to break its seals. there is no one else... no one.
