holly's dad went in for open heart surgery this morning. holly is in indiana with him and the rest of the family they had planned the surgery, but kept postponing it, and it landed on this day. he came out sometime after noon, and everything seems to be progressing somewhat normally, as normally as you can after having your heart stopped for 5 hours and your chest opened up like that. they said he was thirsty, exhausted, yellow, and quite out of it, but he came through safely thank you Jesus...

i talked to holly on the phone just now, she seems to be doing well, as are the rest of the family.. for anyone reading this who knows jack... pray for him and the rest of us.
