update from babyland... hols and i went to her first prenatal exam, met the doctor, asked lots of questions about drugs and food. we both felt really positive about the doctor and her staff... it was a good experience. the crazy thing was hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time. that little person with a heart beating, with real blood and a real spirit. a precious life. that baby's heart must have been beating over 90 times per minute. Oh God, let it beat for a long, long time.

april 6 is the big day.

in 4 weeks we come back and get an ultrasound to find out if the baby is a he-child or a she-child.
