hols and i and the little one spent the weekend in grand rapids for my brother seth's wedding. it was an amazing wedding, unconventional, personal, deeply spiritual and meaningful. i know God is pleased with them. they've made quite a number of sacrifices in order to get married, and they will continue to sacrifice for each other until death. it is good.

unfortunately, my enjoyment of the event was somewhat fogged by a cold which arrived on thursday during the night and is sitting here with me as i type. seems just 2 weeks ago i was sick. hols thinks i'm letting myself get too run down. i drank an entire pot of tea so far today...
