i've had some trouble blogging lately, since the World Trade Center tragedy. i had some photos of 9.11 posted here that really impacted me, but a friend commented at how troubling it was to see them, and she was right. too troubling to leave up with no commentary anyway.. and i don't know what to say. anything i write seems trite or insignificant.

i wholeheartedly trust in my God in these days. my times are in his hands. his presence is sweet to me.

meditating on the beauty of the Lord today.

"God is described in undeniable splendor. The concept of beauty thus is more significant than simple attractiveness. Beauty is similar, if not synonymous, with God's glory. The one who sits on the throne of the universe "had the appearance of jasper … and a rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne" (Rev 4:3)."
